1. Role and Limitations of the Platform

Assainissement.tn is a platform specializing in liquid waste management, pipeline unblocking, and septic tank pumping. Our interventions are carried out under technical control and in accordance with the guidelines of the National Sanitation Utility (ONAS) for wastewater networks and the National Waste Management Agency (ANGED) for the ecological disposal of sludge and liquid wastes.

2. Quote Requests & Online Photos

The website allows users to submit free online quote estimation requests.

• Issue description: The user agrees to provide accurate and complete information regarding the observed issues.
• Attached photos: Uploading clear photos of the issue (sink, sewer manhole, septic tank) helps our technicians assess technical complexity and the required hydro-jetting equipment.
• Informative value: The amounts estimated online remain indicative and only become contractually binding after on-site validation by our technical team lead.

3. On-Site Intervention Conditions

To ensure proper execution of the works, the user agrees to:

• Guarantee free, direct, and safe access for our technicians and hydro-cleaning trucks to the sanitation facilities concerned.
• Declare any presence of dangerous or corrosive chemicals or major mechanical blockages previously thrown into the pipes.
• Assume responsibility if the private pipelines of the home show advanced wear or structural construction defects non-compliant with ONAS regulations.

4. Rates and Payment Terms

Our unblocking, pumping, and maintenance rates are transparently established based on validated quotes.

• Estimation vs Real Cost: The actual intervention cost is entered by our technicians after the completion of technical works (based on actual duration and materials used).
• Environmental taxes: Rates include taxes and fees for the ecological disposal of sewage sludge paid to ANGED certified disposal centers.
• Payment terms: Payments are made in full immediately upon technical closing of the intervention, by check, bank transfer, or cash.

5. Limitation of Liability

Assainissement.tn cannot be held liable for damage resulting from improper use of private networks by the user, a backflow from the ONAS collective network (street flooding), or a case of force majeure (exceptional weather in the Grand Tunis area). Our civil liability is limited to the total amount excluding taxes invoiced for the service concerned.

6. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These terms of service are governed by Tunisian legislation. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or the execution of technical interventions that could not be resolved amicably will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Tunis.
